DE-FUTURIST manifesto
De-futurizing the future.
It is then our duty to proclaim the principles of a new movement.
A movement in which the future does not belong to others and is not a distant promise nor a utopia.
A movement that stands for a new era where we finally become the owners of the world and not slaves of economic powers.
It is the time for us to build our society
over the ground of common powers
and under the light of a new paradigm
that responds to the urges of nature.
It is time to shorten the distance between
the ideas of future and the present.
To resist and to stop relying on the (im)possibility of reaching unreachable futures.
It is time to say, out loud,
The FUTURE is NOW!
And as the future is already here, wonderings of ideal futures cannot be distractors on our will to action.
The FUTURE is US!
And if we are not able to think commonly, we are doomed to the will of others.
The future is common.
The future is collective.
And that is the only way we can own our world.
The FUTURE is HUMAN!
Because the future is not machinic.
The future is the understanding of humanity as part of a larger chain of life.
Being human means living with respect for others, humans and not humans. Being human means being empathetic with diverse ways of living.
The FUTURE must be DE-FUTURIZED!
Together.
Living the present.
